While waiting can be a little long doing the rental online is super easy and saves time for everyone. I did the rental through their website, filled out the form and when I went in, it took less than 5 minutes to have my unit. I strongly recommend completing the rental online. Very seamless

The ladies Angie and Dereka at my location are the best! Very welcoming, friendly, easy to talk to and accommodating. My overall experience has been amazing. They’re always there to answer questions and very knowledgeable of the business. I would highly recommend checking out this location (Oshawa) if you’re looking for a storage facility. A place away from home but with a family feel.

I rate this place a 1 start because it doesn't give me an option to rate lower...my experience was as such... rate locked in told it won't change, get a letter almost 9 months in wanting a 80 dollar mark up.. district manager calls we agree on another number... that didn't last terribly long before they have attempted to hike it up again. To almost $200 for a 5X5... let's not their 5x10 are not even that much. Email month about wanting to speak to someone with no reply.. call store a week and a half ago and was told the manager will be calling next day. Still no call.1 star for customer service. That is the key to a successful business and SmartStop lacks in this area big time.

I rented a unit at Smartstop Self storage last week and was helped by Angie who is Kind, friendly and very good at customer service. She made the registration process super easy and showed me several storage units before I could decide on the right unit for my needs. 5 stars. Will definitely recommend.

Angi was great during the whole process, can’t say enough good things about her! Slightly more expensive unit and they raised prices on me a few months in which is why I docked a star. Wish they would prorate the month as well. Overall clean unit and in good working order
